Famed underwater archeologist John Broadwater told a packed house at Williamsburg Regional Library that work will continue this year on three ships off the coast of VIMS that figured in the 1781 Siege of Yorktown. Lord Cornwallis’s flagship Charon went down from red-hot cannonballs fired by the French.
